Holland Township Police Sgt. John Harris said workers from the state Division of Youth and Family Services removed 3-year-old Adolf Hitler Campbell and his younger sisters, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell, from their home Tuesday. Harris said family services did not tell police the reason the children were removed. Agency spokeswoman Kate Bernyk said it does not comment on specific cases. The children and their parents, Heath and Deborah Campbell, received attention last month when a supermarket bakery refused to put Adolf Hitler Campbell's name on a birthday cake. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28655143/?GT1=43001

They gave their kids awful names but is that reason enough to remove them?

While I find their naming choices horrendous and their choice of decor worse, neither of which qualifies as bad parenting. If imprinting you beliefs on your children is a crime, then Christians should run for the hills.

This is another messed up case of the state stealing children because they parents are "offened' their sensibilities. In general, you have to follow laws and procedures when removing children from a home. You can name your kid Brojees or Apple and it won't get a kid removed. ...Whenever you teach faith as science, you do a disservice to both....

How can anyone name their child Adolf Hitler?? Even Hitler's relatives changed their names after the war. I've heard some pretty strange names given to children, but these were absolutely the worse ever. I hope the kids get some help. If you look for the bad in mankind, expecting to find it, you surely will.
